The Shepherd's Nest was incredible! The hosts were super helpful before we arrived and gave lots of local info. The hut itself is beautiful amd immaculate. The bed was comfy and the view of the cows was amazing. The best part was enjoying the bath under the stars. 100% reccomend

A wonderful stay at the Shepherd’s Hut for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. The location is stunning, amenities are brilliant - you have everything you need. Outdoor bath was a huge selling point for us, so unique and a lovely touch. Hosts were awesome, very communicative and brilliant instructions/recommendations. Also very friendly on arrival! Would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

An amazing find, beautifully private Nest with all the amenities you could need! Charlie and Carol are great hosts and you can clearly tell that they care for their guests! Only a message away and the little details including robes and tea/coffee made the trip! Would definitely return again! Thank you both!! X

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. An impeccably presented hut with tasteful decor and all the privacy you could wish for (minus the cows!) The photos don’t do it justice.
Check in was easy, the place was spotless and there was plenty of amenities available. A pub within 5 minutes walk is the cherry on top!

Good location to visit many of the attractions Somerset has to offer. We went to the coast, Wells and Glastonbury as well as Cheddar Gorge. Although the weather wasnt kind to us, as it was very cold and wintery,the property was lovely and warm and comfortable. NB regarding the directions to the property, it is about only 1/4mile on the right down the lane. Hope this helps.

If I had to say anything negative { and it is trivial } the mattresses are a bit worn and ready for replacement, and maybe a bit more information on what can and cannot be recycled. Thankyou for a lovely stay !!

We did have a problem logging in to WFI which was soon sorted by the very pleasant owner. We had noticed birds flying in & out of a box on the fence & later realised it was a container for smokers cigarette butts. Have left a note on the fence to make smokers aware that there is a nest inside. Altogether a lovely holiday close to many tourist attractions. Janet

Good location for coast and country. Good Access to motorways for return home. Owners quick to respond to queries and very welcoming.

The accommodation was spacious & comfortable & the bifold doors are a fantastic feature. Only niggles would be that the bathroom & shower room could do with some hooks on the back of the doors to hang towels. There was also a slight unpleasant odour in the shower room. However, we very much enjoyed our stay & would visit again.

This is a stunning property that is well maintained. It is in a stunning location with beautiful views and close to all that Bristol has to offer. It is very close to Bristol airport though and therefore aeroplanes do go over very low, but it did not bother us, we loved watching them coming and going, but something to be aware of if you’re looking for complete peace and quiet.

This was a really lovely place to stay. Very clean and well kitted out. It appeared to be newly decorated and was very comfortable and warm. It’s a really great location. We did day trips to wookey hole and Weston super mare, both of which I would highly recommend.
William was a great host and provided helpful information before the stay and was always quick to respond. The only slight rating reduction was because we were told the place was not available on our dates a few weeks after booking and paying. However, we discussed options and when we couldn’t move our dates the place did become available again. This was resolved very quickly but was a little stressful for us at the time. Overall it was a great trip though and I would really recommend this place.
